The OpenSea NFT Marketplace has launched a new feature that automatically hides suspicious NFT transfer transactions on OpenSea, according to the OpenSea blog. Phishing triggers NFT theft because scammers use NFT transfers to trick recipients into viewing NFT lists containing links to malicious third party sites, causing users to be tricked into visiting and interacting with those sites. OpenSea's new ability to automatically redirect suspicious NFT transactions to hidden folders will greatly reduce the spread of fraudulent media.
